William Stobart
William has been involved in ESL from the 1970's to date with exception of two years when he worked for WA Developments Ltd. During his involvement with the Eddie Stobart Group, William has overseen the growth from a handful of vehicles and no warehousing space to its current fleet size of around 800 vehicles and 3.5 million square feet of warehousing. William was also instrumental in the establishment and development of the International business.
During his career William has carried out most roles within the business and thus has in-depth experience and knowledge of the business. William is now Managing Director of Eddie Stobart Ltd.
Andrew Tinkler
Andrew started out as a building contractor with his own business in 1988 undertaking a number of housing developments. Andrew established WA Developments Limited in 1993 growing the business to its current size and scope of operations within both the civil engineering and railway infrastructure fields. He was also responsible for WA Developments Limited obtaining its railway safety case.
Andrew is the Chairman of WA Developments International and the Eddie Stobart Group.
Richard Butcher
Richard joined Eddie Stobart Ltd in 1997, having previously spent 14 years with HSBC and with a strong background in Corporate Finance. Appointed to Commercial Director in 1998, he was heavily involved in the Company's property developments in the Midlands, Yorkshire and Cumbria in the late 1990's.
Richard is now responsible for the warehousing & process management side of the business, as well as overseeing the Group's property portfolio. Richard is also the Company Secretary for Eddie Stobart Ltd.
